Civitas will do its first in a series of planned annual conferences on the role of civil society in the Middle East. Arab, and other regional and international practitioners and scholars will be invited to propose papers to the conference. The conference will go on for one day and gather at least 200 visitors and several contributors; contributors will prepare papers and these will be published in the Web. The conference will deal with topics like:

1)      The need of Young people and their active participation in society;

2)       Gender & participation of women in society;

3)       The role of civil society in society.  

The conference is supposed to broaden the space of civil society in Gaza then in Palestine; moreover, to ensure the civil society actors' participation of approving themselves and louding their voices towards civil life and blaming the unti-civil phenomenon.
