project on dialogue within the Palestinian society is carried in Palestine through a network consortium among Civil Society Organizations; CIVITAS is a member of the project Steering Committee that provides the members with necessary training on dialogue concepts.The overall objective of this project is to achieve an internal dialogue on the challenges of the Palestinian Society, across the borders of the different political groupings in Palestine. The objective is also to expose the concept of dialogue to abroad target group as a means to build a solid foundation for an internal dialogue. Project consists of two separate parts, relating to two different aspects of supporting a dialogue within the Palestinian Society. One part mainly has a focus on policy matters, where the main activities are roundtable meetings that gather representatives from different categories in the society for discussions on the challenges that the Palestinian society as a whole face today. The second part of the project focuses on strengthening the culture of dialogue amongst ordinary citizens within the Palestinian Society through training and seminars, based on the network of civil society organizations that is already established through the ongoing work of the Olof center with partner organizations of the Project Steering Committee.
