Civitas initiates its Palestinian Reconciliation Project "Brothers in arms. Overcoming violence impact of the civil war" in Partnership with Ideaz from Austria; funded by Anna Lindh Foundation for the dialogue between Cultures.

Civitas & Ideaz (Institut für interkulturelle und vergleichende Forschung, the Institute for intercultural and comparative research). will exchange the experience of the Austrian people of overcoming the results of civil war post the Nazis Era to Palestinians in Gaza through carrying out a research study about post conflict mitigation and how to overcome the conflict impact, the research findings will be published in a wide conference in Gaza to publicly debate.

The researchers will use interviews, site visits and debate circle at the International University in Austria to identify the responses to conflicts and how to deal with results. Civitas will develop a training curriculum in "Conflict Transformation" based on the research finding that will target a group of 20 students among Al- Azhar & Islamic Universities of Gaza named "Youth of Change" who will perform grassroots educational workshops.  The campaign will also include radio episodes, posters productions, booklets, wall banners, and other visibility instruments.
