NGO's Capacity Building in Gaza - Partnership with Broderskap |

Civitas Institute has teamed up with Swedish Broderskap through the support of the Olof Palme and funding from the Swedish International Development Agency (SIDA) to carry an initiative for the "capacity building" of the Palestinian NGO's in Gaza; the project is part of a long-term program that is carried in partnership between Civitas & Broderskap to empower these NGO's to improve their performances and outputs qualitatively to serve youth communities in Gaza to enhance their role in Palestinian life. The project adopted training that met the priorities of the targeted beneficiaries to help them improving their self-development after a 6-months training program in topics that included role of youth in the development of civil society, leadership and management skills, how to meet the needs of beneficiaries better, gender balance and equity within NGO's, project design & project cycle, and proposal writing. The project targeted 45 beneficiaries who represented 15 NGO's in Gaza.
