Election Monitoring :

Civitas had elected to occupy the seat of the general secretary in Gaza of the Palestinian National Committee of Election Monitoring on behalf of 120 local organizations of Palestine that had trained and deployed about 5,000 observers among Palestinians during the Presidential election of President Mahmoud Abbas and the local election as well.

In the Gaza Strip, Civitas and its partners had monitored the elections that took place during 2005-2006 either at the local councils elections or the legislative council (PLC) as well where the National Committee has about 1,200 observers who demonstrated 20 Gazans organizations and deployed to monitor the election different phases and submitted regular reports that was analysed to enrich the published regular press releases about the election processes.
