Anti-corruption :

Civitas is going to carry out a initiative to address the reform issue through increasing the public awareness about the "Illegal Profits Law" and to carry out a public campaign through holding 90 workshop sessions for the grassroots in all Gaza Districts that targeting variety of beneficiaries, precisely women and youth, then the sessions outlets will be classified before being addressed to the "Commission for Illegal Profits" in order to support its work and enable the Commission to be able to play its assumed role in fulfilling the good governance within the Palestinian Regime. 

The initiative will sponsor the launch of a coalition among Palestinian CBO's in Gaza that will be directed and managed to carry out activities that support reforms; the initiative will carry out 10 panel discussions also and/ or Town Hall Meetings, and Face2Face discussions in addition to holding a full day conference.

Also there will be production of banners, delivering 5,000 copies of the Illegal Profits Law, 10 advertisements as wall banners, 10 radio broadcasted episodes about reform, and collecting signatures of 5,000 Palestinians who will signed a petition that states their demands of acting against corruption towards reinforcing transparency; in addition to these activities, there will be a marching and a strike as well to put the law into act to the PLC Headquarter and the President Office respectively.

The proposed activities will help in creating mutual understanding between the PNA and its constituents about common issues and concerns in addition to forcing Palestinian representatives to sponsor public's needs as a top priority; the initiative will be culminated by holding a full day conference titled: "Towards Palestinian Transparent and Accountable Regime" where there will be a submission of the signed petition to the decision makers at the end of the conference.
